A-A Auto Transportation(thumbs down)
Well, I just bought my 00 ITR from a private seller in New York. I needed a shipping company to ship the car to here in SoCal. I looked around, and got quoted from various companys, and A-A was the best deal i found. SO me and my dad went with this one. It is a door to door service, which is convinient for us. The car was arranged to be picked up form the previous owner on Friday 2 weeks ago, but the company lagged and couldnt make it till Monday. The owner had to drive it to their lot, which was very kind on his part.
Then my dad and I were told that the car would be arriving the monday before Christmas, this did not go through, same with the next two days after that. After calling the company to find out where the driver might be 3 times, they told us each time, that they were unsure, and would call us back when they got a hold of him. They never called us back and were very rude on the phone. They gave us the driver's cell number to call and try to get ahold if him ourselves. We did, and the driver got back to us yesterday saying he would have the car dropped off at the location today at about noon.
We were relieved to hear this, then today the driver calls and tells us that he does not think he will be able to get the car here till tomorrow, unless my dad would like to drive to L.A. to the storage yard to pick it up. My dad didn't mind, because he wants to get the car here for me, So he said he would.
I wanted to give all of you guys my htoughts. I know alot of you need to transport your R's to the expo, or other events. I would stay away from this company due to their lack in respect to their customers, and their bad service. Hope you all have a safe and happy holidays, Shawn

That's not cool. My transporter from NY to the dirty South was really cool. He kept in contact with me through 3-day period that it took him to deliver mine. He did minorly scrapte my front lip, but that's because my house is on a slope.
Thanks to nEoMuGen
he helped me out, it was his friends 00 ITR, 16k miles, I got it for a little under 18k

Quite common with vehicle transport companies. A friend of mine buys & sells antique cars and goes through the same problems all the time

I actually about having mine shipped, but after reading several reviews of shipping companies, and seeing as how most of the reviews were negative, I just went and picked up the car myself.

$1150 is a good deal for enclosed, when I shipped the 00ITR I have from AZ to MA it went Open Trailer and cost about 1100. I believe it was A to Z Transport, easy to deal with.

I found my CW in Arizona.. After we flew out to take a look at it, I was actually able to talk the previous owner into driving it out to SoCal (to me) in exchange for a plane ticket home. It worked out perfect because I was able to take the car to AutoWave for a complete inspection before handing over the $$$
BTW, congrats on your new ITR.
Let see some pic's!!
