When you CEL #67 comes on does it change anything with the crs Perf.?

When you CEL #67 comes on does it change anything with the crs Perf.?
I was wondering if when my car throws a Second O2 code will the fuel change rich or lean and VTEC still engage properly. Is it ok to run the car hard in this situation i've read some old threads where people run there car all the time with this code but I want some solid info on this thanks in advance for any info.

it's just telling you that your car is not clean enough to meet the catalylic converter's standards.
