Rear Drum Disk
Sup peeps.
I have a few questions, plz dont call me stupid, I just got my license and Im trying to learn how to take care of my car ok? I have a 98 accord lx.
I dont know if this is a stupid question or not but I noticed my brakes squeeks at night most of the time, not daytime. Is there an explanation to this or is it just me? I just had new rotors and pads replaced like 1 month ago.
And Why do I hear like a weird noise coming from the rear drum disk? Its like a vibrating noise. I only hear this after I shift into park. You can also hear it when you're jumping on the driver or passenger side seat. Thanks Guys

I am by far no rocket-scientist but here is my theorum: Since it is winter It is inherently colder at night when there is no sunlight than the day. Sometimes pads squeal-especially metallic ones- if they are cool, the squeaking should stop after sustained driving, and as far as the drum in the rear, open it up and look at it and see if anything is obviously wrong. I would suggest buying a car-repair manual for the car if you intend to do any work yourself, it will be invaluable (it should also have a picture of the rear drum brakes as well)-Hope this helps
Im not really jumping on the seat but whenever I get in the car and sit down, I hear the noise. When I get up from the seat, I also hear the noise. I only hear this sometimes btw. After a 1-2 days, the sound is gone but 1 week later, i might hear it again.
