Ground Control Coilovers. Who is running them.
I think that I have come to the conclusion that I will get a set. Is there a reason that I shouldnt do this. I also have a choice of Skunk2 but I like the idea of wasy adjustability of the GC. Please dont lock this thread. I searched and found nothing.

I like my GC. Also you can order custom springs rates for what you want to use your car for. Also the adjustability is better than having 2 locking perches. I've had both and I like the GC better. Just make sure and get some good shocks if you plan on lowering your car more than 1.5".
i heard skunk2's can lower your car more while the gc have a better ride. i would also look into the vspec version II i heard those are really good!!!!! and they only cost like 220

good, but buy shocks!! don't wanna really do this twice..
GC's i like better than skunks because of the ERS springs. Eibach is good...
i've had my skunks for about 2-3 years now, and they are still going good.. but i really haven't touched the perches sense i bought them and installed them..
the question is, do you really need GC's? or would a standard spring work?

Well thanks alot for all of the advice. I went and ordered the GCs today. I have Tokico Blues and they are rated really highly and talking to people who have them in their cars say that they are really good. I think that I have got a really good suspension going. I should for the $1100 I have spent on it (Canadian $s).

anyone happen to know the spring rate of standard gc's for ef's?
pretty generic, looks very similar to ground control. they are very stiff, stiffer then my suspension tech springs and colors are identicle.
you live in virginia?
GC or any type of adjustable coilovers is ideal for canadian winters
since it saves time and money to swap springs every spring and fall... with GC or adjust coilovers you can raise and lower your car for the road conditions
in toronto you get slush.. montreal heavy snow and ice... you don't wanna get caught in a patch of black ice and plow right into a curb rigth?
i guess it's more ideal to use GCs in canada since it will save us time, money, and our cars in the long run

just curious, most coil overs (the cheap ones like mine) are made for all civics 88 - 00. with that in mind we all know eg+ stuff is longer than ours therefore these coil overs will not dump our cars. is there a problem with this with either gc or skunk2??????
I just say foo I went and bout the JIC 18 way adjustables and got damn dem ***** are tight.............tight on my wallet too..........but hot damn they ride good on lower settings and they dropped the hell outta my car............ but if you have made money i suggest em
