intercooler size?
Boosted97Lude,
That's a big fawking intercooler meng!!! I like the way your Skyline bumper compliments it too. I was planning on getting a similar front bumper with a big mouth opening myself, and getting a bigger IC to take advantage of it. I need an IC just like yours however with the passenger side inverted (outcap on bottom).
Right now the IC I am using with my stock bumper is 7x22x3.5
When I upgrade my bumper and IC I was thinking about getting one of the 2 following:
Apexi GTR I/C Core 2 (24"L X 10.8"H X 3"W)
Silvia I/C Core 3 (19.7"L X 9.33"H X 2.7"W)

well.... that is actually a GReddy FMIC for a 2G DSM... i bought it b/c the one that's actually for the Prelude wasn't available. if you can get that type 24 size, for say, a civic, or an integra, then it would have the different endtanks like you are wanting, but, they are like 1000 bux, and if you look, you can probably find one of the same size somewhere a lot cheaper
I'm running a 24 x 8 x 3.5 inch spearco core with custom endtanks......4gen preludes like mine can't run taller than 8 inch intercoolers without having to majorly cut or remove the bumper support.....
The greddy IC's are great though, we had the type 24 on our boosted shop 'teg and it never had any problems at all at 14lbs

Boosted97Lude,
For your drivers side intank and IC piping did the piping go through the little hole that the power steering cooler hard lines go through? also what is the exact width of just you core? and would you happen to have any close up pics of the back side of the IC incap? thanks
I'm trying to get some measurements for endcaps and a new, larger core, but I am trying to do it so that the IC is not all offcentered. I want to be able to have a new incap that will mount up directly to the IC piping coming from the compressor.
I need to start test fitting my current IC and start taking measurements for my next IC. BTW would anyone happen to know of any front bumper diagrams that show the location of the 4 screws you have to undo to remove the bumper? thanks
