after the CTR pistons, my next "mod" would be dyno tuning. it can be the best $200-$300 you can spend...

Was your vtec at 5200?? From the chart that's where it look like it was set at!! Usually after cams you should bump up the vtec crossover higher, i'm sure if it was closer to 6k you might've gained another 5 or so hp.

hey you live in georgia too. I live in gainesville. I got my car dyno tuned by balance a while back and i got 113.2 with 99.8ftlbs. This was with a DOHC ZC with aem short ram, chikara header, pacecrapper exhaust, msd 6al, str fuel rail and rc 270cc injectors. I need to go bak though cause now i have a custom exhaust done, aem cold air, JG pro series cams, Cam gears, and one of those hyperground kits for sunautomoblie

From what the dyno shows not enough fuel delivery, try advancing timing and change vtec x-over to 5900rpm.. or maybe i'm just reading the chart wrong never took my car to dyno? between 5800-6krpm your b16s powerband flattens out. From 3500k to 5200k your power.. where is it? Maybe they need to tune it a little better or get another cam JG/Crane/CTR/ITR cam, just something different then your Skunk2.

btw what were your temperatures through out this?

**never dynoed car at a shop, only did butt dynos with V-Afc, EGT & A/f gauge..

Hmm something must be wrong do you have an intake or intake manifold. Here is what i have and i made 160 atw and 108 tq
stock b16
jun cam gears
jdm itr header
skunk intake manifold
aem cold air intake
custom 2.5 exhaust no cat
my motor could be more healthy as well w/ compression 150-130-145-155 not the best but not the worst i guess. I would think w/ the cams you should be in the 160's at least if so it may be intake manifold get yourself an itr or skunk. It made a huge difference in my car. did they tune the gears ?

yeh it could be that he has enough stuff to push out but not enough to suck in.

Let the car breathe. It's definately the intake system too if your running stock Mani/TB and stock airbox.

cone filter on the end of the JDM rubber intake hose

JDM DC 4-1 with a carsound 2 1/4 cat

no restriction, man

BTW- it was really lean before tuning, after he turned fuel pressure up we get so much fuel that he ewas trimming it leaner with the VAFC. so fuel isint an issue.

replace that stock intake mainfold w/ skunk or itr seems like you need some more fuel maybe also get some kind of cold air intake the harder pipes actually help in velocity of air coming into the engine.
