As the title reads I have a Milano Red 94 del Sol. Coming soon are new rims and a few other exterior items. I've had a few sets before and I know that I want to go 16" and no bigger this time. So please throw some opinions/suggestions out so I can start gathering some info. Pics would be greatly appreciated.

Initial choices:
Subzero
C8's
Lenso VPD

Also color is another area I've yet to decide on. Does anybody roll white anymore? I kind of like white on red cars. But I also like the darker color like bronze and gunmetal. ah decisions, decisions.

i'd have to say something bronze as well, or flat black. rota circuit 8's are my personal fav.

 

My friend has a red Del Sol. He had some ShitStreams on it, but just recently switched to Mugen MR5's which look incredible...totally flow with the lines. The car is waiting for a motor and isn't running at the moment, so I'll try to snap a pic for you.

 

here's a very old pic of his Del Sol (year and a half or more) when he first got it. This is with the ShitStreams. The Mugens look 100x better...

thanks for the pics confused. I bet your friends Sol looks really good with those Mugen's on it. I just don't have that kind of $$ right now, so the Rota's are looking good. I will probably more than likely get something darker colored since it seems like white isn't really the thing anymore. lol

 

Im in the same boat you are right now.... I have a 96 red ek and i cant decide on either white or steel grey 16in sub-zeros but im leaning towards steel grey just because of cleaning issues but i like white alot.

i had white ADR Revolutions back when i had my Del Sol. looked nice and stood out well against the red. they were Advan knockoffs.. kinda hard to find those wheels now though. mine didn't have the red rim around the wheel though.

Forgot to mention that a guy up the block has a red Del Sol with black SSR type X with red lip, and it looks amazing.

 

Something black with a red lip might not look that bad. Never thought of that. I need to know a few places where I can take a look at a larger variety of wheels. I went to tirerack, but they didn't seem to have a huge selection.

What da hell are wrong with rotas? They are cheap, light, and good quality wheels. Must not be good since they arent expensive

Wheels...definately go bronze and don't listen to the guys that don't approve of rotas...theyre badass and hella cheaper: no sense wasting your money buying the crazy expensive rims....BRONZE for SURE tho, on a championship white car! White is great...do it up!

 

cancel that whole championship white comment...thought you were looin to repaint the car...I'm not a fan of white rims nemore, but to each his own...kosei has some that look grreat in white take your pick though.
