Has anyone heard if and when the RSX type R will be over here? If you have any good links with info that would be appreciated.

We got the performance package and its just slightly below 30K, Fitting an RSX-R in between that and an S2K is a marketing nightmare. With the evo and wrx falling under 30k Honda cant compete. Its not coming, at least not anytime in the near future.

$100,000 for all 4? Or $100k per vehicle?

I would have gotten an NSX instead of the 3 extra ITRs. Then you could have your ITR and NSX daily driver luxury car too.

Very disappointed in the next gen. Hope Honda does better next time. Ever change the oil on one of these? It takes three cans of brake clean to get rid of the mess, the oil filter is in a really shitty location.

That's not true at all. The reason the performance package for the RSX-S is as expensive as it is, is because it duplicates a lot of parts that are already on the car (wheels, suspension, etc).

If they decide to bring in the RSX-R, look for it to be priced below the RSX-S with the performance package.

Its not coming, at least not anytime in the near future.
I haven't seen an official statement from American Honda either way. But it wouldn't surprise me if they brought it here.

The boys at Baranco Acura have heard differently. Their regional rep said it WILL be here, late 03 as an 04 model. Send a PM to Rated R for more info.

Why? Not everyone dislikes the DC5-R.

I dont see that happening. The type-s cost about the same as the celica gts. The type-r is going to cost around $3,000 more than a gs-r(or type-s now). You figure just adding Brembo brakes and limited slip would cost close to that much... Not to mention all the engine work, suspension work, etc.
