Default HKS Super Dragger for 5th Gen Ludes 95mm piping?! is this true??

Hi everybody,

I heard from a member of po.com that the HKS makes the Dragger system for the Lude in Turbo size. I looked up a few websites and sure enough they show that a turbo application does exist, unless of course this was just a generic advertisement that was also used for cars like the MKIV, 300ZX, FD, MR2 etc.

However I wanted to check with you guys to see if you have heard the same thing. According to the ads, the HKS Super Dragger has 95mm piping (3.75"), which would make it ideal for FI. But does such an exhaust even exist? or are they only available in NA sizes?

I thought that most companies such as Apexi, Greddy, and HKS did not make turbo exhausts for non-turbo factory cars such as our Ludes. The only company that I know of that makes3" exhausts is Thermal, but I think they may have discontinued.

So anyways, what have you all heard?

I think it's misleading....the super dragger systems use piping from 60-95mm depending on application....if you look on HKS's main site, it lists the 5gen super dragger as having 60mm piping diameter.....doh!

I know you didn't ask about what exhaust to get but.... If you have a turbo lude you should get a custom exhaust made with whatever size piping you want and using whatever muffler you want and so on. It only makes since, you can't just buy everything in a box and bolt it on. It should cost you about the same too

Just my .02, good luck luck

Yes I know that...I am well aware that I can get a custom exhaust done, in fact I plan on getting a custom 2.5 to 3" DP and 3" cat fabbed up, then I'll get a SS catback with a universal 80mm Apexi N1 muffler.

I am just worried that the person I got this information from is spreading a great deal of mis-information, but what's worse is some of the distributors of the HKS Dragger have it advertised as a turbo exhaust with a 95mm piping.
