lude wont idle when warm...

my buddy has a 90 prelude... It runs great for whatever distance he wants it to. The problem is, after he shuts it off, it wont start back up until the motor cools. Any ideas what this could be?

Be a little more clearer when you say won't start back up.

Does the starter not engage?
Does the motor just spin but doesn't fire?

Be a little more specific.
