The other day i started up my car (in the cold) and i let it warm for a few minutes, i hit the street and at a stop, i saw that my RPM needle was bouncing from 2000-3000. I started driving again and it stopped. should i have it checked out? will this be a prob in the future???????????????

 

was the motor actually revving 2-3k or was it just the tach moving? if it was the motor it could have been a bug or something temp that cleared out, if it was just the tach it could have been electrical interference. if it didn't do it again i probably would'nt worry about it.

 

the engine was reving while the needle was moving.

 

Carbed or fuel-injected? High mile or low-mile? Hybrid or what?

Please write what year, model and miles in the future...that would help us alot. We can more specifically help you if we don't have to infer from your 'handle' (obviously you are/were/somehow connected to a 95).

 

this is the factory 95 sohc non-vtech engine. with 89,000 miles on it
