Default 3rd gen oil pressure gauge

Ok 3rd gen b20A5 guys, I'm looking into getting some gauges to aid in helping me avoid possible damage to my old-*** motor and help it last forever. I am looking into the Auto Meter oil pressure and water temp and possibility a voltage gauge but that is not as important.

What I would like to know is if anyone has installed an oil pressure gauge (electric) and where did you put the sender for it, also what pressure range would suit this motor better, 0-100psi or 0-150 psi.

I am thinking about mounting these gauges on the top of the dash. I have also heard about the late model mustang A-pillar pods fitting the 3rd gen, anyone know anything about that? I really don't want a duel gauge pod and thought maybe I could modify (cut) it to hold just one.
Any help on anything would be greatly apreciated, thanks guys and gals

hope everyone had a great Christmas

Evan

I installed an oil pressure gauge, and connected to where the stock dummy oil sensor sat. If you get under your car, and feel around above the oil filter. You'll notice the sensor with one line coming out of it. I took the stock sender unit out, and replaced the Autometer sender there.

If you plan on getting the Autometer oil pressure, go to your local Autozone or Pepboys, and also pick up some Sunpro fitting adapters. The Autometer fittings won't fit our cars. You'll need something similar to the the fittings found on this page: http://www.buy-secure.co.uk/sunpro_accessories.htm, specifically the kit CP7573.
