my grandpa used to own a Mercedes-Benz 180SL Roadster. he almost bought a 300SL gullwing but said that his income would've been a little too tight for comfort if he purchased it. after like two years, he sold the 180SL for a Jaguar XK120 or whatever those things were called. to this day, he tells me it was the worst decision he's ever made.
now he drives a '92 Accord EX.

1st of all it's called a Karman Ghia. Secondly don't knock that car, it has a history to it. Plus if you know what to do with them you can make them look tiite as F___ !
Air Cooled kicks ***. I can look out my window and see two ghias sitting in my neighbors backyard right now. They are a bitch to buy parts for because besides doors and whatnot, they're all one body piece so any rust has to be fixed by welding and whatnot. Both of her cars aren't running, but she loves them.
Good looking cars.

My uncle use to have a baby blue carman ghia slammed with center line rims and a turbo charged porsche motor and we use to do wheelys around the block. Sadly his divorce forced him to sell it.
