h22a
ok i am new hear but not to he honda scene i have a h22 out of a 98 lude i want to put it in my crx i have no problem withe the wireing and making the crx hydro clutch but motor mounts i have not found any i can make them if i have to but would rather not if anyone knows of anyone who makes them or has them let me know and yes i know that you really have to hack the car up but iam prepared to if i have to thanx for the help
i have only seen one daily driven H22 CRX on this page, it was over a year ago. the guy bought the car from a mechanic who did the swap when he owned it. he said it drove ok, never handled great, but it was pretty fast in a straight line. i think with I/H/E, he was doing high 12's on street tires.
custom mounts are necessary, i would think the best way to make it work would be by using stock prelude mounts and welding them to the CRX chassis. while you are at it, weld up a replacement front crossmember with a burly front mount, you are going to need it to hold that monster H22 in place.

There's more than one person on this board with an H22 in a CRX. I can't remember who though. I think his title say it not sure though. It takes a little more than that to get an H22 in that dinky engine bay.
waste of time and $ IMO, you can do a b20 vtec and be just as fast or faster. Theres too much modification involved and like other people said it will handle like ***, better off doing a b series
