Did rear disc brake conv. from 92 Teg LS 4-door, and now:
My rear end seems like it's higher up than before. Has anyone else experienced this? This is on a 90 CRX Dx.
Holy ****! Everyone thought I was crazy when this happend to me.
When you get an answer please let me know. My swap raised my rear end at least 2 inches.

Thank God. I thought I was the only one too. Anyone got any ideas?

what all parts did you use from the ls? I would just swap the hub and use my old arms and other suspension parts.
I used everything, except the LCA's, (kept my stock ones) the entire LS trailing arm, but not the shocks or springs. Used the ones from my CRX.

I used everything from a 91 CRX si. I mean EVERYTHING. LCA's, shocks springs all of it. Unbolted from the 91 and bolted it all to myy 88.
What did I do wrong?

Never heard of this. I know the struts/springs on the teg are quite a bit longer so if those are used will raise the car about 2inches. The trailing arm I've always heard is the same. I used 2 door LS rears on 3 cars and GS-R on another one and all look the same from the rear wheel gap.

Off set is the exact . Doesn't move the wheel out at all. Now the camber may be a little different but thats about it. Use some washer and straighten it out
You may want to double check on the offset, it's very small, about 1/4" or so more, but enough to make a 205/50/15's rub on a hatch under load (would be worse on a CRX). Making you bend up the lip on the inside to get away from this problem. On drop springs of course. If anything the camber would be too much positive, at stock ride height.
the actual arm is the same cause honda only had one stamping to make theese, it is the hub and other misc. stuff that gives them different part numbers. that is because honda never sold just the arms, but sold them as a package. the rear struts are the same also, same part number from 88-91 civic as the integras.
Kind of odd that they would only make one arm for the civic and integra, when in 92-5 they made a seperate arm for the CX vs the rest of the hatches, which all differ from the integra's. Trust me they're different. They managed to come up with different front suspension parts, all the rear arms, but they could only make one trailing arm, that due to the hub is offset different, but once removed from the trailing arm and installed on a Civic trailing arm will correct the offset problem. Hmmm.......
http://tjshondas.20m.com/rrdisc.htm this is one of the pages i found, the other sourse of my info was a honda/acura body part catalog at my friends body shop.
Thats the site I was thinking of just to lazy to find it. I have a set of teg rear springs and struts and the spring/struts are longer though?? will double check tonight to verify this info
My wifes car sat alittle higher (I wouldn't say 2" though) approx. 1". I always thought it was because I installed poly urethane bushing even the huge trailing arm donut looking bushing. She using all the Integra rear compontents except for the toe adjusting arm, that's stock.
Then you need an alignment even worse that someone who didn't. I wish I had a digital camera just for situations like this, but that's just money that needs to go twoards my car, so MEH!
Damn! No wonder my car handles for crap!
When doing the conversion, I couldn't even get to that bolt without removing the entire compensator arm. I think im going in for an alignment tomorrow.
