Default t any needed- Selling my ITR

I`m seriously thinking of sellíng my R since my engine is shot. The numbers for a replacement engine are 4000-6500$. A repair is very expensive too, because I am in Europe and can not step into the next store to buy some parts...

I called my R for sale in the internet and since day-one my phone rang 100 times... There are people who would pay 10.000$ for my ITR, knowing that the engine is shot. I have very expensive aftermarket parts installed.

So I wonder if I should put the 4000-6000$ in my ITR just to have a 185whp again, or if I should give it away and go for a 380whp Supra.....

What would you do ? Okay, standard answer: Depends on what you want....
But this is not the point. The truth may be: I`m looking for reasons to keep my ITR I haven`t found yet, except the fact that love this car. But I could learn to love another car as we all do from time to time.

What would be your reason to stick with the ITR ??

IF I were in Europe, I wouldn't keep that ITR.

I would buy one of the following and fix them up like there was no tomorrow;
1. Escort RS Cosworth
2. E30 M3
3. E36 M3
4. Lancia Delta (with more suffixes that I can't recall)
5. Nissan Silvia w/ SR20DET

If I had a choice to keep a "R" with a shot motor or sell it and get a Supra turbo. Without a doubt, the Supra would be in my driveway. Some of the reasons I might keep the "R" would be better gas milage, the power and sound of vtec (but nothing compared to the Supra's turbo spooling up), better handling at the track, easier to work on if any mechanical problems occur, and limited production, so it's pretty rare.

Can't you find a JDM ITR motor for a fair price, or just order an ITR from one of the U.S. companies like HMO, IAS, or JDMhondaparts.com Perhaps you can find someone in Europe who will sell an ITR motor for a decent price. It's up to you.. Sounds like you have a soft spot for your R. Regardless, another motor is not gonna be cheap, but shop around and I think you'll find something. Good luck to you.. Cheers..

Forget the ITR, you have so many better cars over there.
