Default Would you do it again?

Ok folks, nearing the new year, been almost 3 years since i've had #1035.

I want to pose a question. so many of us have 'moved up' or 'moved on' or whatever, but in retrospect, would you still buy the ITR if you had to do it over again? I'm curious to see what others think. I honestly can not say whether I would or not....

I think everyone elses technology is finally catching up to Honda, so the R isnt as infamous as it once was, and it becoming, dare I say it, outdated. Still an awesome car all around, even by todays standards. I think there is a lot to choose from though once you start getting into the 20-25K price range of what our R's go for brand new. Would I do it again? I was unfortunate enough to buy my R used, so I would love to have a brand new one, but I dont think I would pay 25K for a new one nowadays.

I bought again after the first one was stolen, so I guess I still would. Althought the paranoia and inability to take the damn car ANYWHERE is annoying. I have thought about selling in the past year due to thieves, but I can't do it. Worrying has just become part of my life. Goes to show you can get used to anything......

I would still have gotten it, but if mine gets stolen, I don't think I'll get another.

i would....

but remember, im 19, and have had #226 for 2 months now. I live at home, so i dont have that many financial responsibilities outside my car, and insurance. No family to take care of either.
Theft/vandalism isnt a problem around here.

I love my car, and would do it all over again.
#226 is my 4th car
previously owned-
92 MX3
99 Si
00 GSR

and i must say, the ITR is the most fun car

If I could, I should have bought the '97 ITR which was sitting at Acura of Bellevue, back in Feb. '97. Oh well.

My problem is my goals/priorities were very different when I bought mine. All I gave a damn about was having a good track car. *shrug* oh well, no regrets

What are you trying to say, Rob? You want some "bling" to go w/ the package?

How about an E30 M3 w/ AC Schnitzer 5-spokes w/ 2.5l evo strocker kit & aero kit.

Nope, My next car will be a Z06 in black.
Allthough I have no plans on ever getting rid of my R I would not be comfortable buying a used R to replace mine in that awful event.

I really like/ love the R but If I could not get another one Brand new ( can't do that) to replace I would have to go over to the Z06

Same time, same place? Of course I'd do it again.

The Aaaaaarrrrrrrr experience has been great. I look forward to driving mine until the wheels fall off... by then, I hope to have a mini-van to replace it...

Would do it again, no doubt at all.

I too tried to buy one in 97 and in 98, glad I was finally able to in 01.

At the Time (97/98) and in that price Range I think I would still choose the ITR, With the selection of sports cars available today the choice may be a bit harder.

I would do it again no questions asked! Mainly because of Performance is great, Reliable, Style, Aftermarket parts, Track ready, ex. The only think I don't like about the car is the attention from others.

I would do it again. Even though other cars are catching up they are nowhere near what a Type R is, pure raw fun
