Hello there;

Recently, I bought some rims from a friend of mine. He told me they were Mugen RnRs and sold them to me with tires for $1000 ... but now I find out they are not real .... and he says he already spent the money... Should I kick the @#$% out of him or try and work some isht out???

sorry your friend pulled one over on you, but this is really members corner material.

 

Find out how much the wheels and tires are really worth, and make him pay you the difference.

If he is a friend, he should do it. If he's not really a friend, you might have to beat some sense into him.

Also, next time you spend that kind of money, make sure you get a bill of sale signed and dated by both parties so that the sale and items are verifiable in case of possible court action.

 

I'd make him pay the difference or make him refund....then kick the crap out of him....then never speak to him again. What a pathetic excuse for a human being, ripping off friends.

Kick his ***. He probably knew they were fake anyways and needed money, so thats why he probably sold them to you

 

 

I voted your fault, cause you should have realized this before purchasing them. So u got screwed but, he isnt your so called friend, so kick his ***!

 

What size were the rims and how new/what type are the tires?
If they're 17's with some newer tires of a reputable performance brand (yokos, nittos, etc) then you didn't get screwed too bad, maybe lost out on $200 bucks or so.....
Then again, if they're 15's with some all season federals on them, you got shafted......

If hes a true friend then you two should figure out something between the two of you. Possibly some money back or something. No need to get all bent out of shape about it. Apparently you liked the rims enough to buy them, so a $1000 for some rims and tires that you like really isn't that bad. I mean come on, money is just money, but friendship is forever. At least thats my .02

first of all, i will blame you for not knowing that RnR's only come in 4x100, and not in 4x114. second, they would have "mugen" engraved on them (i know, i had a set back in the day). so you should have done your research before you bought them, insted of just going for anything mugen thinking you would be cool then.
and if your friend screwed you over like that, that's not a friend and i would stick all four of those wheels up his ***... oh, wait... they couldn't fit... never mind.
