Seat pan question...
I know the seat topic has been beaten to death, but I did a search and came up with no real help for my problem, just loads of conjecture.
Here goes: I'm putting 89 CRX Si seats into my 88 DX hatch. I know that the CRX seats won't bolt in, because they are spaced about 1" wider apart than the DX seats. So, I'm trying to swap the seat pans from the DX seats into the Si seats. Got the DX one out fine, but the Si has one last bolt that is not accessible (sp), that holds the lower part of the seat to the upper part. It is underneath all the bracketry... Has anyone removed the Si seat pan successfully? tips? Will the Si seat even accept the DX pans? I don't really want to drill holes in my floor for the CRX seats, and I think custom brackets would be to weak. Help?
cheers

It looks like I may have to grind it down, yes
I was under the impression that it was possible to do this without any grindung. I'm sure that there was someone on here that had done this before??
