1980 Honda Accord Camshaft torque specs
What do I torque the camshaft hold down to on a 1980 Honda Accord? The book list everything but this torque spec.

18ft lbs of trq. Is what I trq. mine down to on my B20. Dont know if the trq specs are the same. Actually there prolly not, But I busted one cam bolt off @ 22 ft lbs of trq. just so you know. Are you modding a 1980 accord? Just currious.

My 1970 Monte Carlo! Dart Iron Eagle 200cc 2.05” valves 72cc chamber heads, straight plug. 3/8 studs and guide plates. With a performance three angle valve job and professionally assembled with Manley Race Flow valves. With Scorpion 1.5 ratio Roller Rocker arms, springs are 1.46 diameter crane dual springs that will handle a .600 lift. With a Compcams 274H Extreme Energy Camshaft 487/490 Lift, 274/286 Duration, 110 Lobe Separation, is pushing on Rhoads lifters with chrome molly push rods. Eagle "sir" I Beam Rods 5.7" Steel Bushed, ARP Wav Lock 3/8 rod bolts, with 12pt.nuts on a Scat steel cast crank shaft, Clevite bearings, high volume oil pump, 400 Sbc Keith Black Hyper Pistons KB125 + .040 and seal pro molly rings =240 pounds of compression, Holley Strip Dominator intake with a Holley 770 Avenger, 2000 Hughes stall converter, K&N air cleaner, Edelbrock Elite series valve covers, Holley FlowTech Terminator Headers 2.5” exhaust to 40 Series FlowMasters 2 1/4” out to the rear with chrome tips and MX re-core on my Radiator.
