WW front goes good with what fenders?
im not really sure, but i remember hearing that the 89-90 fenders are different from the 90-91 fenders.... and if they are different, should i get 90-91 fenders for my 89 crx if i am planing to get the ww front bumper?
btw, this is because i got in to a car crash because a drunk driver lost control on the freeway and ruined my baby
please watch out for my crx if you are a drunk driver.
anyways isnt even 21 yet and he got arrested for DUI and his insurance is paying for my repairs

get 91 4dr fenders and then get JDM 1 peice headlights.
that's like saying to use 1990 Ford Escort LX fenders on a mustang. uh huh, sure they'll fit...
ic, on the websites they all say 88-91 crx fenders.... does that mean i have to get them before i can order my corners? 88-89 ones are different from 90-91 ones right?
..as far as the kit is concerned, the fenders make no difference...if you want corners without screws...get 90-91 fenders.

88-91 crx fenders are all the same..only diff is the plastic clips that held corners on...

If you look real close at the fender in the 2nd pic, you'll see that it has the exact same gap as the rest of the car. Unfortunately, i don't think that there is much of a fix to this, other than having the kit molded in... blah...

This car won't be around long enough to paint it though

Hey ComposiMo what bumper lights are you using? Ones from a 90-91 or 88-89? I know only one or the other fits just not sure which ones?

I know, doesn't it? LoL... the tranny situtation is getting on my nerves. The supplier didn't have a quaiffe in stock, so it had to be ordered. Obviously it isn't going to be here in the next couple/few days, so i'm spending some time just hooking up some stuff that i have been meaning to install... like the 2-step

its the same cause you can put 90-91 trim on a 89 and it fits no gap..i think you just did a poor job of fittin ur kit
You wanna come over here and fit it for me? Trust me, its fitted correctly. The bottom of the kit is where it needs to be, it is just not tall enough to cover the gaps caused by the taller original trim.
What is interesting, is that i know of a couple other cars that have the same issue that i do, but i have never seen that problem with any 90-91... Even the body kit that you see there on the yellow car fit perfectly on my '90... Wanna explain that? by the way, if i move the body kit up high enough to close the gap, then the door won't open. And yes, the kit is an authentic WW body kit.
As for the kit/car on their site... i can make mine look like that to with enough time spent at the body shop. I don't trust manufacturer pictures when deciding if a kit will fit right
Anyhoo, i am speaking from my own personal experience, and you are speaking from yours. I think we are both right. Is it possible that it could just be an '88 year thing, since you are speaking of an 89, and i am speaking of an 88? I have the trim laying around here somewhere, maybe i'll snap a pic of it if i can find it.

Its humbling to admit you're wrong, but hey, everyone has their moments.... and i was wrong. The disstance from the top of the channel to the top of the fender on both fenders is the same... But i still don't understand why the sideskirt and doorcap fit perfectly on my '90, but the exact same skirt fits like crap on my '88? Thoughts?

Whatever fenders you get, make sure they're factory honda parts, even used ones with a few dings that can be fixed. Those taiwan aftermarket ones almost always fit like crap. Not worth the 50-100 savings IMO.
