Default obd2 to obd2 ??

in the process of making a adaptor harness to do b20 in my 97 hatch. i would like to test it on the 1.6 to see if it is wired properly. ? will this have any adverse effects computer 95 Ls, moter civic stock d16. dont see a problem my self just want some reasurance

well if you would have read the post you would of see i am using a 95 ls ecu, as we all know is obd1 not obd2. well any way dose any body know if there will be any side effects from running a OBD1 p75 on a 96 dx 1.6(obd2 moter). just thought it would be easer to weed out any wire problems now on the 1.6, then when i am doing the swap in the car as i will probly be pressed for time just dont want to blow up the dx moter. as far as i see the only side effect would be a richer fuel map. and as i am sure there is two versions of obd2 so a obd2 to obd2 conversion is possible.
