Default problem with short ram

hi all
i have a short ram in my itr for few months now and it seems like it made my ac freon leak,it caused a hole on the freon piping because the short ram was ssitting on top of it.how would i go about to patch this..?jb weld?or should i jus look for another freon pipe.i tried jbwelding it but ppl still say it won't work and if i try adding more freon i might just waste my money because it will leak still..any opinons.
thanks

Get another a/c piping from the dealership. And, this time, put a foam padding between the short ram and the a/c line.
