Just bought one of these. It came with instructions, but i still can't figure why its not going off when i jack my car up. Is this a tow and jack sensor? or did i not install it correctly. help anyone

 

Where did you connect that second wire to?

 

to my hood trigger wire

 

Did you adjust the sensitivity with the voltmeter? It is supposed to sense changes in vertical height, so yeah its a tow sensor but not really a motion detector since there are no actual sensors.

What size diode and which way does it go again tekken? Im about to put some add-ons for my alarm too and will most likely have 2 on the same trigger wire. Do I have to put one on if there are no other sensors on the hood pin wire other than the motion detector? Also, im going to install one of those old school DEI pagers, what sensors have a (-) input? Glass breaking sensor, doors, hood pin...?

Is it safe to just use a diode on all add-ons?
