Bridgestone Potenza RE711
Does anyone have some information on Bridgestone Potenza RE711? I’ve searched online and have only found websites that are in Japanese. There are a few English sites but they are not too informative. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
I have them...there are very similar to RE010 (tread design), but I think the compound is slightly softer...they handle real well though and have very good dry traction.
Here you go mate - http://www.bridgestone.com.au/tyre_d...tor/index.html
Simply select 'Potenza RE711' from the '--Tread Pattern' drop-down selection box.
I've just fitted my 4th set of RE711's (205/50 R15); as they are an awesome performance tyre, in both the dry & wet!!
Plus they perform very well on the track, are priced well and give great grip right through the life of the tyre....even down to the indicators!!
They easily rate better than the RE010 (which were ***** after 50% wear) and are above the S02 + even the S03 (according to my long time tyre dealer).

Unfortunately, the RE711 is no longer being produced (not for Australia @ least)and I'll have to find another tyre to match it (apparently the Potenza GIII's are supposed to replace them)?!

I’ll try them out soon. If they perform as well as it is mentioned, I’m going to be very pleased driving with them. Thanks a lot for the info and enjoy your holidays.
