Default F'n big rigs!!!!

Tonight I was driving on 80 in Vallejo and to the right of me about 3 car lengths ahead is a huge big rig. Then all of a sudden I see sparks fly from what looked like it came from the his passenger side cabin.

There were cars all around me so I couldnt speed up, slow down, swerve.

The f'n sparks hit my car, I can actually hear them hit. This happened for a few secs, then I finally found some room to move. I swerved to the left and took off.

I checked my car and saw no visible damages. I hate big rigs/18 wheelers!!

It might be too late now, but whenever you are around big rigs, try to take note of those "Am I Driving Safe" signs with 800 numbers. Remember identifying marks (like the trucking company name ), and the nearest exit/offramp of the freeway you are on, plus the exact time.

Good info for highway patrol reports and such for insurance purposes.

Be glad you weren't in a convertible or on a motorcycle. Ouch !

But glad to hear it sounds like you are OK, now.

Whoa!!!!!! bud, Don't hate the big trucks cause of something like that happening. I use to drive one myself. When I'm in my R or any of my other cars, I never ride right beside one for various reasons. I don't distrust the driver but, I do distrust the truck itself! Trust me, you don't want to be near one of those tires if one blows! And I always hang back a bit till I have enough room to jet past him if I have to be in the lane next to him. I'm very sure the driver would have done his best to have prevented it if he could have.

It was at 10 at night, so I didnt really notice any markings, I was too busy paying attention to the sparks that were coming towards me.
I had no choice, I was pretty stuck where I was. There was a lot of traffic. Everything seems okay though.
