anyone seen or tried this??? kind of weird!
try this...
turn on the car and repeatly press the brake pedal. watch as the rpm's start going up. i got my car from idle at 800rpm to 1,500rpm just by repeatedly pressing the brake pedal. strange! also tried it on my friends GSR and the same thing happend. does this happen with anyone else? anyone know why pressing the brake would rev the car??

you have power brakes, so it runs off the your engine so it puts some stress on your engine when you do that... so you engine revs a little to work it, same thing happens when you steer left and right repeadedly, it'll do the same

It has everything to do with vacuum.
Power brakes work on engine vacuum (read: negative psi. in the intake maninfold). By depressing the brake pedal you are increasing the demand on the engine for manifold vacuum.
There is, I'm sure, a more technical description of what is happening, but it should suffice to say that this is completely normal.
