Front turn signal lights
I'm trying to change my front signal bulbs from the stock to the blue ones. But I can't find a place that will install them for me without charging me like 100/hour. So how would I install them and what bulb would I use...stores say I should use 1157 but when a friend of mine who is into cars tried to install them, he said that the bulbs were wrong and that I needed a push in bulb not a twist in bulb. I can't check because I don't know how to take the bulb out... Can some kind person please help me.
Just goto your local autozone, pep boys etc and tell them what lights you are looking for. They can tell you which ones to get, i can't remember off the top of my head. Then the corner lights are easy to take out. Just one screw, then pull on them straight out and they should just pop right out.
i kno in my bumper lights(4th gen), it uses 1156 bulbs, which have one filiment, the 1157 has two filliments. i got APC's "bright white" bulbs, which r pretty much blue, i'm just waitin to get the ticket from the popo. in the corners, mine use the 168/194 bulb, same bulb. ima put hyper white in those eventually, i just got the regular ones in those. but in anycase, non of it is legal. and y cant u do it urself, its changing a friggin bulb?
