alright... i am 99% i have OBD1 clips... i'm using the harness off of my 92 cx, but i also have 2 extra harnesses, 94 udsm gsr, and a 94 jdm gsr... and they're all the same(injector clips).

but i can't get these 50 lb injectors i ordered from viren to fit. i was told they'd pop right in, but they will not at all(the clips)...

so, if i cut off part of the plastic(the red part) will it be able to plug in?
or what gives?

from the picture you drew it looks like they should like up.... except maybe that the things on the sides of the clips arent really both in the middle and your injectors are.

 

that's the thing. it "should" fit... but no matter what i do, it will not.

do i need something other than an OBD1 clip?

 

Take a sharp knife and cut off the red thing in the injectors. This is the easiest way to make OBD1 and OBD2 injectors universal.

 

i had the same problem with my injectors from viren i i heaed up my soldering gun and melted down the red piece. Worked like charm. HTH
