How much can a NSX make going ALL MOTOR?
Hey,
Tried a search but really did not find anything. Wanted to know how much HP you can make going with bolt-ons plus cams if they make them for a NSX?
I have yet to see a company who makes cams for the NSX so if there is one, please let me know.

how much ya got to spend? Toda is working on NSX cams I think. Dont know when they will be out.
With custom work, like stroke and bore increase.... Well the JGTC cars get about 500HP N/A from a 3.5L. So you cna get some serious power out of them. And the JGTC cars run on pump gas last time I checked

with minor bolt ons you can look for a ~30-40 hp increase, id say. Major tuning and such you can prob. get more.

I think PD Cunningham's championship winning was making around 350hp. It was all motor. BUT, they had to rebuild the motor after every 2-3 races as opposed to rebuilding it once a season with FI.

I just had my engine completely redone. I will let you know. I should have it back 2nd week of January. I will do a dyno run with the turbos set at 0 PSI. I am hoping for the 325 to 340 HP range.
pump gas? heh... no. JGTC cars are 99.9% custom, and are pure race cars. They don't get 500 hp out of pump gas, and the motors don't last more than a race or so. and they cost $125k, i think, according to Toda's website.
now the GT300 NSX, that's more reasonable in both chassis and engine fabrication. that would use race gas too, and i don't know how much hp they make, but i would guess 350 or so.
i'm also very curious how the new toda cams will do... but no vtec? huh? someone needs to make affordable billet cams... although i guess i need to own an nsx before i complain!
