AEM CAI bypass vale, needed or not???
I searched couldnt find what I was looking for, being the rainy season and all, I was hoping to get some opinions from owners of the product, and people who don't have it. And if so what is the rain level like where you drive? Thanks guys in advance. Shawn
I drive in the UK with one. I DON`T have the bypass valve, and it rains a lot over here :/
It has to be a FAIRLY DEEP puddle before problems occur imo.......
Not worth it. Just avoid puddles.

Do not get the bypass valve. I recently took it out and 1/4 of the sponge was sticking out into the path of the intake air. I used the plastic clip that was suppose to hold the sponge from doing that. Aem Bypass Valve
Im now running a Aem Cai uncut and notice how its cooler(temp) than my intake w/bypass valve?

I'll say you don't need it a million times but you should try a search first to see if there had been any topics.
Drive carefull in the rain and you should not encounter any problems.
