I love those cars. At the dealership my friend and I went to, he wanted to test drive the S2k and they actually let him, keep in mind he is 18 and I am 17. Well the superviser that went with him for the test drive didn't know how to drive stick and neither really does my friend. So they make me drive it to their main parking lot. We had a hard time figuring out Reverse. And I kept forgetting about the engine button. Anyways, I got to drive it for just a little bit, OMG that is the best car, so smooth, so fast, wow. My friend stalled for 10 min, couldnt drive it, made bad noises with the engine. He didnt deserve to drive it but oh well. Heres to S2k's

lol i test drove a gti with a buddy. the salesmen told us that when excellerating we should drop down to 4th (we were going about 45-55) so my bud throws it in 2nd and squeals the tires. it was fun to see his reaction.

 

to messin with the supervisor. Yea, I am really suprised that they let us drive their cars. Carmax has a great policy though, and i would recomend everyone to buy from them, if you are looking for a used car. They do free appraisels and all. Lke my wagon for $41.88. Anyways, anyone else got good test drive stories.

 

damn the s2k im going to buy will have at most 5 miles, i dont want any jackasses like you or your friend test driving the s2k im going to buy. damn you idiots

 

haha..me and my friend went to test drive the rsx-s ..when it just came out..i was 16 at the time..and my friend was 17...the manager took us for a spin....here in my city..all the dealership is in one long strip..then at the top there is a like 35 degree curve..so she said that she would show us how fast it'll get..and went like 80 on the strip..and the speed limit was 25 i believe..couldn't brake enough in time to make the turn..and we did a 360 into a construction area dip...that was fun!

 

Yea, I can unnderstand your wrries, but I am not a jackass, and as I said I drive stick everyday and didnt have any problems, but my friend did. Their policy though is to check and recheck the cars for damage then the insurance pays for any damage done and they will fix the car. The car had like 6k on it and is still under warrenty. Besides a few stals wont kill a car, it was used anyway, and you never know what kinda driver the former ower was.

On my S2000 test drive I got it a little sideways from lift throttle oversteer on a turn, only going 40 so it wasnt too bad but scared the salesman. Then he was trying to brag about the fastest test drive in that car was 109mph. So I took it up to 120 before I lifted off. He prob thought I was a maniac but complimented on my shifting!

I was at a Lexus dealership and I test drove the new 5 speed IS300. Fun car I must say. The dealer and I were just talking about the car and stuff as I was just cruising. Well... until I hit a speed bump that neither of us saw at 45mph. I gave a nervous chuckle and said "good suspension huh?"

Yeah... we didn't talk much after that. HAHA

 

WOW I didn't get to go that fast but I did get the car sideways and leave a little rubber behind. The sales guy yells "Hell ya" he loved it.

I am always scared to do anything on a test drive, probably cause I am poor and only 17 but hey. My friend that stalled the S2k, he drove a WRX, and a Baja. Said he only stalled only once. Oh well, he can dream

that's why you go find a USED car of that model to test drive.. it won't hurt it if you redline it..

5) '03 Sentra SE-R Spec-V smooth, six-speed is great, nice tires/suspension
6) '02 WRX Sedan It was rainin and it stuck like glue...phat *** car
