will a 94 ex tranny fir a 99 ex?
reason: I have a freind who has a 99 and has tranny problems. I have a good 94 tranny, will it bolt it? My main concern is the drive axels, are they the same?
the 94 is from a d16z6, the 99 is a d16y8
both are 5-speeds
will it work? help!

Yes it will bolt up perfect..Also from what I hear and what I have owned I like the 92-95 EX/SI trannys better then the 99 EX one I have. 
. I felt as if the gearing was better..But who knows that might just be me 
Ohh yeah the axles are the same too
