Default $5,000 to blow on the Eg (hatch)! Ideas please!

My father just told me that he is going to give me $5,000 for my 98 Civic LX.
I was expecting 4k, but this is better

I'm thinking:

GSR motor w/ LSD - $3,600-3,700
Header - $350
Kenwood MP3 player - $240 (I miss my mp3 player from the LX, this is a MUST!)

....possibly OEM style c/f hood - $400
H.I.D - $400

I have (or will have by next week)
--Angel eye projectors
--JDM corners
--Axle back
--16" Rota C8's (gunmetal)
--Coilovers
--Skunk2 camber kit

I would get the c/f hood before HID if it came down to one or the other.

Any ideas? ....I'm not sure if I'll need other parts for my motor or not. Maybe a test pipe and some custom mendral bent piping

The car is a 93 white Cx

I'd hit up the motor while you have the money on hand, just in case something wierd comes up during its installation. Assuming all goes well, your list and plans are looking pretty nice.

Oh and swaybars and strut tower bars might also make your ride alot more enjoyable. Handling upgrades are really a nice way to improve the ride and feel of your car.

i would get a clutch and flywheel for the engine, and do the engine maint. stuff like timing belt and water pump while you have the engine out and a new head gasket wouln't hurt either. then pocket what is left over as rainyday suspension money

I agree if u were to get an older integra motor 94-95 obd1 ...... save the money from the HID and get clutch, timing belt , flywheel. Plus i heard HID sucks on Civics.. i dont know about H3 on the angel eyes.... just get some Piaa super white bulbs

Expect another $200-$300 or so on top of the engine for maintanence things. Put a new timing belt and water pump on for sure as aforementioned above.

Forget about the angel eyes and put the $$ towards an intake or v-afc or something.

Yeah, that is where I plan to get the motor from. I think shipping is like $350 which is why I tacked on the extra amount.

My friend has this motor in his Eg hatch and I love the power. It's a pretty awesome set-up and it blows Hondas away all day around here. But, most here are ricers with I/E and two foot wings

Yeah, I'm going to do all the maintenance possible before installing the motor and running her.

I already have the angel eyes:

I've actually paid for everything above that I listed for my car. Just waiting on the Rota's and lugs to come in
