Did a search...helped (well, not really). I already have a 5zigen exhaust and injen SRI. I was just wondering how noticable is the gain with the DC JDM and the carsound cat? Everyone tells me my exhaust is going to get a lot louder and 5-7 hp gain but I just wanna hear it from those with experience. Just doin my homework before i go drop $650+ on a header and a cat (having to go stainless on this one )

 

Replacing the stock manifold and your cat to a 2.5" system will help a lot. There is a huge bottleneck right now with your stock system to your aftermarket exhaust, the 5-7 hp seems about right for the header replacement.

May I ask why you are going with the DC JDM? I don't think its that expensive with the cat.

 

I paid 360 for my DC JDM and 125 for my carsound cat you are paying too much. I noticed a noticable difference especially in the top end

It's about a 170-175whp package most likely, I was probably few whp under since my Carsound was rattling and likely was a little broken apart inside.

i paid mine for 550 CAD for DC JDM CC.

yeah. you will feel some gain at high rpms..

in greatest header test.. JDM DC actually owns Mugen header.. and other expensive JDM headers

got my dc jdm 4-1 for 280 from inline four a while back,paired it up with the carsound cat, bolted it up with stock exhaust last weak
