Got a CEL 22 Oil pressure sensor. It only sets the code every once in a while. Wondering if there is a test for this to see if the sensor is bad. When you try to get V-tec to engage will it set it? Need to trick the ECU to see if it will throw it again. Got it reseted. What will cause this to flip out.

you want to trick the ecu.. reset it....

 

check your oil level on the car........
if it is on the line add a little
if that doesn't work check and clean your VTEC solenoid

 

It was a question. Was wondering if there is anyway to cause it to throw it again?? Test drove it for about 15mins and got V-tec to engage but no codes so hopefully it was only a fluke.

 

drop your pan and see if anythings there
check your line and see if you tube is bent
