98+ font bumper conversion
i have a 95 and my bumper is messed up, repainting is not going to fix the problems either. I was thinking i would do a 98 + conversion while im at it. i think it looks nicer. with that in mind i was driving by the new acura dealer and decided to stop by to see how much they wanted for the parts. they said i needed a new bumper, which is obvious, new lights, which i knew, but they said i will need new corners. i hadnt thought of that but i have never heard it mentioned. will the old ones fit> i was thinking i would go all amber anyways, but anywhow, i was getting to the price. .roughly around $1,400 for just those three parts. thats with no clips, etc and not even primered. sounds a little bit waaay expensive. i think im going to take a better look at those imitations on ebay. any input or experience with either?? thanks

yeah, you'll need the new corners as well. That price does seem a little high, so I would look on ebay or the classifieds or look for a wrecked 98+ integra.
ebay is the place to get lights or try the classifieds the bumper is something you should try locally lots of ricers swap them 98 front ends for body kits or you can sometimes find them layingaround at body shops i got most my stuff used
got the 98 bumper with a wings west lip f and clear corners *sigh* for 80 through a mutual friend. headlights through ebay for 240 shipped buy it now. type r lip for 325 shipped i know i kinda got raped on this. and 12 buck shipped on ebay for
oem amber corners.

That's too much. For my 2000 Integra, I got my front bumper from riverside acura for $200, headlights for $250 used in near perfect condition and a whole oem body kit for $450 through classifieds and thepartstrader. Corner lights were like $20 on ebay. I had to get the stuff painted though. Sometimes you'll see all that stuff on ebay too.

they are right, you could probably source yourself a used front bumper with all the lights for under 600. And just use the hardware off your existing bumper, etc.
