make sure you have some DOT3 or DOT4 brake fluid to refill the resevoir when you bleed the clutch line. Thats pretty much all you need, other than the hand tools to do the job. Might want to have some more clamps on hand for the fluid line from the resevoir to the master cylinder...I screwed mine up trying to get it off, so just got a new one. I just replaced it with a screw - type clamp from home depot.

Yeah. It's pretty striaght-forward. It can be messy, though. Brake fluid is pretty nasty stuff. Don't get it on the paint -- very corrosive. The only thing you might want to purchase would be some new cotter pins. I always manage to tear them up taking them out (on the linkage, they hold the retaining pin into the yoke). You can get a pack of them from any parts shop for less than $1.

good luck.

Drop me an e-mail if you hit a snag. I just did one yesterday (my 4th time).

Also make sure you know how to bleed the cylinder correctly. Good Luck.

Brake fluid is the only other thing you need. The master cylinder comes off in one piece and goes back on as one piece. Don't forget to replace the slave cylinder too. You'll need a friend to help you bleed the system too.
