i do not know where to put my MSD Box, damm abs is in the way, and i got a skunk2 mnifold, so its hard to put it in the firewall, any ideas besides relocating the battery to the trunk!

 

Not the safest or best place but some do wire it inside the car ie. glove box, or under passenger seat. Just ideas but yes it is best to find somewhere in engine bay. Good luck.

i had no room inmy bay so mines is under the pass seat

 

u think its safe on the passenger side by the ecu on the floor, i was gonna drill it thereand then put my floormat on top, is this a good idea.

 

no, you want to keep the case exposed to air. if you dont have a cai you can mount it where your air resonator is. otherwise you can ditch your cruise control and put it there.

Good question. I'm in the same boat. I ended up making a make shift plate and mounted it to the bolt location that the OE intake arm mounted to by the ABS unit. I'd eventually like to re-mount it in the fender well area to keep it out of the way.

What I should do is take it out and sell it since I don't really make enough power to warrant one. But i got it for cheap and I wanted to see if I felt any difference. And except for a bit better idle, I feel no diff. I'm just too lazy to take it all apart again.

if you can't fit it inside the engine bay (i wasn't able to, either), you can mount it under the passenger seat as long as air is able to go underneath the box. the best way to do this is to buy a mounting kit, such as

or you can make your own by going to home depot and do it yourself. that's how i mounted mine underneath my seat. good luck! and hope this helps you out!

 

my digitail6 is located inside the car on the passenger side near the fire wall behind the carpet...........it mounts nicely there....
