Looking to buy a CRX Si..90-91...what should I look for?
Hey gang,
I am wanting to upgrade from my Type R to a CRX early next year for a track car. I was wondering if there are common things I should look out for when shopping for these cars. Thanks for any advise
edit:..I can't spell

If you are talking stock Crx, the only big problem with those are the rust in the rear wheel wells. The motor and tranny seems to hold up pretty well (compared to the jdm b16 trannies). You'll get 4 wheel discs on the 90-91. Inspect the bushings and wheelbearings, etc. Have fun!
if u are considering an engine swap then dont really worry about engine and tranny issues.... body wise some rust holes are the main problems... have ur car undercoated again... take care of any rust spots...
Si model its more easy going for swaps as well as the HF.... 90-91 Si's have 4 disc brakes, HF model it sthe lightest ones... SI ehaviest ones....but SI one has the best geared cable tranny in the US,....
