hey, i wanted to know if there is like a autotrader site out there but for bikes, i hope there is i haven't found one yet, this amatuer trials bike rider here had a all black retired racer it was like a 86, all black it looked awesome and he got it for like 600 bucks and sold it for 900, i want to find something out there like for that much, i'll get a better bike later in life when i have money and not paying for a car, i turn 18 on sunday so like i just want to learn on a nice bike but not alot that it kills my paychecks to fix it or even do payments for it, well thanks guys later

Both are forgiving to the rider, cheap, lower insurance, cheap parts, and reliable.

What state are you in, what kind of bike?

 

have some mechanicl knowledge or have connections via body shop, and mechanics. i see lotsa bikes for dirt cheap, but need repair or has some body damage.

another opiton is to go to an auto auction. (have to have a license though). saw several R1 auctioned off for around $1000. with minor damages. one guy that bought one fixed it for less then a thousand and sold it for 4 times what he invested.
