Default Stock Accord CD Player

I have a stock cd player in my 98 accord that does not play burned CDs. The CD player knows how many tracks I have in the cd, but endlessly scans for whatever. When I pop in an authentic CD, it works just fine. The wires are connected properly. I was wondering...does this happen to everyone or is it just me? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks...

I have a 99 EX with a stock Cd player and it plays burnt CD's just fine... maybe try a different brand of CD's and a different burning program. I use Nero to burn and memorex discs

If you buy the more expensive blue CDs you will have better luck.

CD-RWs never work. I have the same problem in my 99 Accord. The only burned CD-Rs that work in my cd player are ones from TDK. I have no clue why. I'm getting rid of it ASAP. I'll just need something to go under the new cd player first. Hmm, maybe an equalizer. Don't know quite yet.
