I've driven a h22 5th gen coupe and was on hand for the swap we put in custom spring rates in the front to accept the weight of the honda big block and we did a gsr all around brake swap, as a side note we drove this car with and without the gsr brake swap and without it, it felt like you were driving a car with a full load of passengers. I would suggest upgradeding the springs/coilovers at the least for doing a h22 swap.

this is a topic that has been seen to many times in all the forums at H-T
you will find some really good tech/theories with the search function.

yes, Please check out what Proeater said as well as use the search function....

there are countless threads that explain for handling and such with h22 civics.

and no does not feel heavy, handles awesome still even with civic ground controls, and there is 0 understeer. all of those are rumors and absolute BS unless you are, of course driving a Civic CX with no sway bars, whatsoever and taking it to the next auto-x event, then it's going to handle like ****.

but as for me, i have a 5th gen coupe.

my current suspension set up is tokico blues/civic gc coil overs, and stock front and rear sway bars on gunmetal HX rims right now.

for handling, I love the way it handles, and it can only get better with the more upgrades I will be doing for spring/shock set up. I will be going ITR 5 lug for the rear disc conversion, front brakes as well as getting Zeal B6 suspension with custom spring rates.

With that said, I can guarentee you the civic will be a beast on the circuit/auto-x track, which is what I am building it for.

For more research, please refer to the search page, or see the thread above for more referance.

This is EXACTLY why I created this thread. So you can read and there can be less of the same threads on here. Just make sure to search and we can keep all useful info under less threads
