Default can ya help a brother out?(autocross related)

I know this is not honda related, but it could be in some distant way. I recently totalled my CRX, and now I have no car to autocross. I was thinking of getting another CRX, but I also thought of getting something different. I am looking into getting a 1989 Mazda 323 GT Turbo FWD. The FWDs do 0-60 in 7.4 and the 1/4 mile in 15.9. The AWDs are heavier and slower in some ways, although they do launch better. Have you guys seen any in action? I need some input. I have around 2500 CDN to get a car.( not sure about US exchange)

if you are on a budget then this is a poor choice - replacement parts for stuff that breaks are hard to find and tend to be pricey. Buy another CRX....

I agree. We had one guy with the Mazda - it was mechanically not as
good, and he kept getting his butt kicked. The CRX is the better
choice.
