Default terrible wet weather brake fade

I have a 90 crx si, all wheel disc brakes. Dry conditions are no problem. When I drive in the rain I get very bad brake fade. If I am making regular stops (city driving) it is not a problem. If I am driving on the highway and get off of an exit ramp, the initial attempt to stop does nothing. If I stay on the brake it starts to work. Of course this is after my heart rate jumps about 20 bpm. I am currently running autozone performance pads . Has anyone else experience this? What did you do to resolve it. Thanks for the help.

Does your pedal sink down when wet outside? Or does it feel the same? If it's the same, it's your pads. If it only sinks when wet (not likely), it's probably still your pads . I've never experienced this (same braking in both wet and dry).

Pedal feels the same in both conditions, just not as effective under intial braking.

pads problem
they arent very effective once they get wet.... they grab when they get hot... wich in a moment of reflect can cause ur car to have an accident... ill say get some Lifetime warrant OEM ones... try to see if they fix the prob... if not get some high performance ones...

Thanks for the info, I figured it was the pads. I will have to start looking into getting some replacements.
