yeah what he said. also if you can find it for a good price. custom MANDREL is good. you gotta tell us more about your power goals and plans and current setup and what you want out of an exhaust. generally the U.S.-made exhausts (DC, thermal, comptech, magnaflow) are 2.25" and the japanese-made (tanabe, hks, greddy, 5zigen, apexi) are 60mm=2.36". so they are pretty much the same. just get the cheapest one you can find. if the TUBING (not piping) is the same then they all should perform the same.

but to answer the original question, there is no best. the best is the one that fits your needs and budget, etc.

What your setup and what you're going to do really plays a major role in what exhaust to equip.

Are there any sites which list the weights of exhausts? Searching turns up little (Fujistubo which needs a different cat I'm told).

I'm considering a lightweight (or at least lighter) exhaust since you can't do much in gstock (solo2 scca). No CAI, or even header. Also needs to bolt on to stock cat.

There;s another person asking the same exhaust question today. i'd say, do your research and it will pay off. Personally, i would have gone with a type-r exhaust as the noise noise does get a bit much when you have passengers. But its up to each individual's tastes and personality.

good luck to you.

i love my apex ws, $350 shipped.... it's not overly loud like the N-1 or the racing medallion, but when you're on it, it sounds nice as ****.... it has good increase in hp/torque... bang for the buck, there ya go!!! or for a bit more..ck out the hyper medallion

Could use an ITR exhaust in G-Stock, considering that it's an OEM Integra part?

Better bang for the buck than most of the aftermarket exhausts. I got mine for $200 in perfect shape.

Yeah agree a nice Stock Integra Type R Exhaust is what I would prefer. I am looking to buy an Integra Monday with a Apex exhaust. I have always been a fan of the Tanabe G Power Medallion do to the look and sound.. But now I am older and don't want to be bothered to much with Cops so I am going to look for a ITR Exhaust soon. If anyone here know where to get one let us know. Thanks...

I love my apex n1 yeah its loud, but it has great gains and a gorgiouss sound very nice, the only problem it that it hangs so low. It looks really good too. It also has wonderful high end gains. The cat back pipeing is so much better than custom pipeing. N1 bolts up perfect.
