integra VS civic coupe
well, i couldnt really put this in the integra or eg+ forums, so i decided to put it here, move it if you want... My plans are to get a eg coupe, but i was thinking today that if i just bought an integra ls i wouldnt have to do the b18b swap into the civic and it could possibly save me some money, my plans are to turbo a b18b in a coupe... so which one would you suggest for a street car, the integra or the civic
i say it would depend on how much you could get the cars for. If you can find
a cheap eg and drop in a b18b in that, i would do that instead. but then again, i dont care what my car looks like, but if you like the integra body better, then go for that!

Even if you put the integ engine in the civic its still a civic! Hehe. I just like the way the integ looks over the civic but if you want light weight then go with civic.

well if u are going to put a teg motor in a civic.. U are really just putting a HONDA motor in your civic.. .. hahah .. the b motors are Honda.. not acura motors.. no big E .. but i would go for the civic.. and if 92 and up civic .. then a b swap will be easy.. no mounts to buy.. just the motor and tranny and axles..
I'd say hatch it's lighter, and you'll use less fuel going faster due to this weight thing. I think the EG looks better than any integra (with exception to the new JDM type-r's) I like the bubble look though. Japan has some interesting car designs. Very aerodynamic for what they are.

If you're talking about an EK/EM coupe.. then i'd stick with that. The Civic is lighter, and personally, I think you can make a coupe look much more nicer than an Integra with less money - more unique too, since the roads are filled with fast/nice looking integras, and not as many fast/nice looking civic coupes
Even I wish I had a coupe instead of my integra..
Let me give you some inspiration...

i wish i could afford an EK coupe, but i think im gonna have to go 92-95 because i want to pay cash for the car... i was just wondering if it would save any money to just get the integra and not have to worry about a swap even though i would probably be totally stripping it to its shell and doing a full colorchange and building the motor at the same time
Personally, I have done both and I still prefer the civic with the swap, I had a 95 GSR and Now I have a Coupe with B18C both were turbocharged. The Civic Coupe is by far my better choice.
1995 Honda Civic EX -- 2443 *Manual*
1995 Acura Integra RS -- 2529 *Manual*
I would go with the Integra.
The Integra looks better. Plus it's has nicer interior, imo.

well... im gonna try to look for either an integra shell or a civic shell... but if i have the choice i think im gonna go with the civic which should be cheaper
