I did a search and found nothing. Has anyone purchased one yet and does it cause the CEL code?

I remember reading a post on http://www.ClubRSX.com about the comptech race header. The price on that header is 950.oo + tax. And when I saw the picture of it it did not look like it had any place to plug the o2 sensors into, but it did state that it had holes to plug the sensors into. As of right now I do not think anyone is running one yet, but I may be wrong. For more in depth information on the RSX you may want to check out clubrsx forums. i dunno about the rsx but i am pretty sure that if you get caught with it, you would be paying big fines. it replaces the cat.

 

yea, i suppose if you get caught you're up the creek with the state, but...the cat pipe on the rsx is literally behind and under the engine/firewall, so unless come nosey cop decides to slide under the car to check it out, you should be safe. one guy here in huntington beach attracted a cop when he vtec-ed through an intersection on a busy street and got a ticket for a loud car. he went to the station the next day with his stock cat pipe and they signed off the ticket. he said the cop was really a nice guy tho, so maybe it's just luck.
