Default ecu question.

i'm in my quest to swap my tranny to manual but i was told that i also need to change my ecu for one of a manual lude. can i replace my ecu for that of a sh or should i look for the base model ecu?

You don't REALLY have to change to a 5spd ECU, but I would recommend it. I have a write-up on the swap at www.mazmotorsports.com and should have the wiring diaagrams/pictures completed soon. If you keep the auto ECU, you will throw some auto tranny codes and get an irratic idle (random). Oh yeah, I would stick with base ECU unless you get the atts tranny.
