Default The integra is finally moving along..

Finally all the parts have arrived, and my shop is now assembling the engine.
The head still needs to be pnp'd, but the ferrea guide valves are in, along with crower springs & retainers, ferrea SS intake valves, and *gulp* stock B18C exhaust valves. (two of the heads of my ferrea SS exhaust valves were cracked, so to keep things balanced, i removed the 6 workable ferrea SS exhaust valves, and replaced them with modified stock B18C ones for now.. I will replace these later to SS once I get to step 2 of my project, a few months from now)

Hopefully by Saturday they'll have the engine back into the car up and running *fingers crossed*

What you're looking at is a B20B shortblock with B18C2 head, Ferrea SS intake valves + stock B18C exhaust valves, Ferrea Bronze Valve Guides, Crower Retainers & Springs, custom aluminium B20B blockguard, stock B20B pistons & rods with brand new B20B piston rings. I don't plan on exposing anymore than 0.8 bar of boost and no more than 8000rpm to the engine at its current setup.

Step 2: 84/84.5mm JE 9:1 pistons, B18C Eagle rods (already got it), B18C crankshaft (already got it), a new set of Ferrea SS exhaust valves, and up the boost to maybe 1.2-1.3 bar

BTW, anyone want some used oversize JE 81.5mm pistons with total seal rings? (under 500 miles of usage) - PM me if you're interested

Those ports are not stock at all. In fact they have a LOT of meat missing... I really don't understand how you consider those unported...

Went to the garage today, and to my suprise - everything is in the engine bay!
All that's left to do now is change the gear oil, and connect up all the vaccuum hosing, then they start her up, and then i'll get to drive her again after a long abscence of about 3½ months!

If all goes smoothly, I can drive her home tomorrow night.. xmas day! woohoo

Sitting there looking all cute

Everything but the battery, vaccuum hosing and strut tower bar

Yes, it says B20B. I am one crazy ****, aren't I?

What the hell is that?
My 2nd hand HKS oil cooler - it came with steel-braded hosing, so I bought it, but it didn't reach to the front of the car, so my mechanic put it here for now, and will get new hosing made for it after i've run in the engine

My Lancer Evolution 5 intercooler which everyone seems to think is so "small"
